Charles J. Saleh is the President of The BuySell Consortium (BSC), a boutique investment banking services practice, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Valuations, Capital Procurement, and Strategy Consulting. With over 14 years of exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions, Charles has established material expertise in deal making across a number of verticals.
Prior to the inception of BSC, Charles held various positions at renowned financial institutions, including Grant Thornton and RSM Canada, where he played a pivotal role in successfully executing client engagements in audit and tax. His strategic vision and meticulous attention to detail lead Charles to take on more of a focus in Business Valuations and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Charles began taking on leadership roles in Corporate Development teams within international logistics and transportation companies, where he found, vetted, and facilitated several strategic acquisitions and investments. In early 2018, Charles became an investment banking leader at Canada’s most prominent automotive M&A firm, where his responsibilities revolved around full-scope transactional advisory. His responsibilities included overhauling the business valuations process, prospecting clients, and supporting deals from start to Close.

In 2020, Charles founded Saleh & Company, consulting practice specializing in outsourced Corporate Development, Fractional CFO services, and Business Valuations, working with both private and public companies. Charles became a key advisor in a number of strategic transactions and portfolio investments across various industries including, SaaS, Gaming, Automotive, Medical, Transportation & Logistics, and Manufacturing, advising on transactions worth north of $4.5bn throughout his career, and valuing companies worth north of $6.45bn in Business Enterprise Values.

Driven by his passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals, Charles has built strong relationships with industry leaders, cultivating an extensive network that spans across various sectors. He takes pride in providing tailored solutions and guiding clients through complex transactions, ensuring maximum value creation and strategic growth opportunities.
As the President of BSC, Charles works alongside the Executive Chairman to set the strategic direction of our firm, overseeing the execution of mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising initiatives.

Charles is currently a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and has completed a Series 7 License from FINRA. In addition to these credentials, Charles also holds the following designations:
  • Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV)
  • Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF)
  • Accredited Senior Appraiser – Business Valuations (ASA)
  • Certified in Entity & Intangible Valuations (CEIV)
